Please be advised that beginning the week of September 29th, the pedestrian trail and bridge will be temporarily closed to all foot traffic. This closure is necessary to allow the Harris County Flood Control District to safely carry out a major drainage channel rehabilitation project in the area. Heavy construction equipment will be present, and for the safety of all residents, access to the trail will be restricted until constriction is complete.
The project is expected to be completed by April 2026. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as Harris County Flood Control works to improve drainage infrastructure serving the community.
